The summer school course in global health will give you a broad introduction to the principles and goals of global health.

At the end of the course you will be able to:

  • Identify major global health challenges
  • Understand common global health terms
  • Identify and describe social inequalities in health and their impact
  • Diagnose and treat main diseases with global perspectives
  • Design health programs focusing on specific solutions as well as general initiatives

The course will enable you to participate in the further development of the field as well as partake in the provision of health services at hospitals and health centers in low- and middle-income countries.

Price: Students applying for AU Summer University courses through a bilateral exchange agreement and nominated by the home institution can participate free of charge.

  • EU freemovers – 1,500 DKK
  • Non EU/EEA citizens – 1,500 DKK + Tuition fee 9,560 DKK
